A1000 under Win2000

Hi all, I'm trying to install a Storedge A1000 under Win2000 server.Could anyone explain me the correct procedure?Thank you

you can always get the D1000 control unit to replace the A1000 and use it as a jbod...

installation? find a differential scsi pci card, install the card, plug the cable into the D1000 and format the drives...is that what you needed?haroldkarl

You must use a High Voltage Differential card for A1000's and D1000's.

Not the more common LVD that you would find in the PC world.

Use the forum search for keyword 'hvd' for a few discussions on this.

There have been some LSI cards that do HVD.

You're best bet would be to crawl around in Ebay for someone

that has a HVD card for you.
