How to install sun qlc fcode for qla2642

Hi,

I have a solaris host which is having qla2642(4gig) hba card. Now I want to load sun leadville driver in that. I downloaded san foundation suite(SFS)4.4.10. But i need the sun fcode as well.

This setup i want to use for sun mpxio.

can any one guide me how can I convert qla2642 hba to sun qlc, mainly upgrading the fcode.

You shouldn't have to load any Fcode onto a Qlogic HBA to have it work with Leadville and mpxio. Simply enable mpxio as per the SAN documentation and it should enable just fine.

but here the hba is a qlogic branded and it is having qlogic fcode for solaris9

It should still work just fine. Make sure the qla driver package is not on the system and you have the latest SAN patches.
