Use StorEdge T3 as JBOD?

I have a StorEdge T3 and would like to try out some features of ZFS.

I had hoped to delete the raid volumes on my T3 so I could work with the raw disks - like a JBOD - for my ZFS pool, but the documentation makes it appear I need to create either raid 0,1,or 5 LUNS.

It is possible to use this nice T3 as a plain old JBOD?

You can't use it as a JBOD.However, simply create some LUNs on the T3 and serve them to the host. All of the ZFS features will work just the same on multiple LUNs from a HW raid array as it will a JBOD.
