ras_admin tool does not discover my 6130

I have recently acquired several 6130 units. I am having problems discovering these units after I installed "SUNWstade". I connected the 6130 directly to the management host using crossover ethernet cables as defined in the documentation. Even though I have connected both ports directly to the management host, only 1 of the 2 default addresses responds to a ping.

I have been unable to get the web interface to work either, so I instead tried using the "ras_admin" tool. Here is the syntax and results:

{camel}/opt/SUNWstade/bin> ./ras_admin discover_deviceIP

Reading deviceIP: 192.168.128.1016130_1 6130# test setup

Adding devices from deviceIP.local to configuration:

Any advice or tips you can offer which would help me to both discover the 6130, and/or properly configure the Web based management software would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a 6130 but perhaps a reason for this could be that there is a password set on the 6130 and Storade needs to know about this.

Eg, a 3510 with a password set will cause sccli to fail if Storade does not know this password. This in turn will cause the discovery process to fail.

The password can be set using ras_admin or in the Storade GUI.

Other than that, I cant be of much assistance.
