Sun StorEdge L25 failed to initialize

Hi Everyone,

We have a serious problem with our Sun StorEdge L25 Tape drive. When I reboot it to reset the tape drive, it gave me the following message:

Path 0000

This problem is the X axis friction is too high for normal operation, which describe in the user's guide. What could possible to cause this error? How can I solve this problem?

Hello everyone,We have found out the problem. The problem is that the tape drive was getting too dusty, so we blow up the tape drive and start up the tape drive. Then it works fine now.Thank you for everyone's attentionPhilip
