Sun Studio Compilers for Linux Build 24: CC is now working on Ubuntu 6.06

I just downloaded Sun Studio Compilers for Linux Alpha release build 24. Compared to the previous release from April 2006, I found that the Sun C++ compiler( Sun CC) has improved alot. In the previous release, there were many errors reported while trying to compile my programs due to the problems with the GLIBC header files. Now, all of the programs that I wrote to work with the CC compiler on Solaris now compile with no problems using the June 2006 release of the CC compiler for Linux. I tested this compiler on the latest version of Ubuntu, Ubuntu 6.06 (code named Dapper Drake).

The CC compiler for Linux from Alpha release build 24 also works on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 WS. I tested the same programs, that I tested on ubuntu, on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and there were no problems with compiling and running these programs either.
