NetApp support for SCSI-3 PGR in SunCluster 3.1

Hi Gurus,

I have a customer attempting to add NetApp filers to a SunCluster 3.1 four-node cluster. The NetApp is running as pure FC, i.e. no iSCSI and no NAS. I've seen it done rather easliy in a two node cluster, but of course group reservation is necessary for four nodes. Apparently this is a problem for them. All the Sun documentation I've seen assumes a NAS or iSCSI type application.

The NetApp array is brand new, though I'm not sure if it's a FAS6000 or FAS3000 model.

Does anyone here know if NetApp supports SCSI-3 PGR through FC, and how you turn it on?

Thanks in advance,

James,I don't see FAS6000 in the http://www.sun.com/software/cluster/osp/netapp_interop_fc.xml page, so may be it hasn't be tried yet. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with these boxes, so you might be better off asking NetApps themselves how you enable SCSI-3
