sds\svm creating mirror root disk

hello

there is any other way to make a disk to be bootable , rather then the regular way by the installboot command?

e.g : installboot /usr/platform/`uname -I`/lib/fs/ufs/bootblk /dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s0

I must run this command in order to boot from a special disk, or there is diffrent way to do that?

thanks

Why do you want some other way to do it? I'm sure there are alternatives, but without knowing the problems with this method it's hard to guess what you're trying to accomplish.

I don't want to suggest something that will do the same thing and have the same problem for you.

Have you looked at what installboot does? Do the same thing.-- Darren
