A kernel for Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 ?

Hello,

I am trying to install Solaris 10 on an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 machine. Unfortunately grub cannot boot the default kernel (the system just immediately reboots). When switching back to the 32-bit kernel via

kernel /platform/i86pc/multiboot kernel/unix

the system boots normally.

Will there be a dedicated 64-bit kernel available for the Core 2 Duo, or am I just doing something wrong here?

Thanks,

Lars

Update:Installed Solaris Express 9/06, and then it works with the standard 64 bit kernel.

I'm having exact the same problem on my PC with E6600. Seems that Solaris 10 06/06 64bit kernel does't work....

A correction. After installed the kernel patch 118855-19, it seems working.
