scshutdown problem

hello

I have sunCluster 3.1 update 4 on solaris8.

node1 + node2 + node3(as the standby of node1& node2)

when I run scshutdown on node1 then only nodes 1+3 are shutdown,

node2 must be rebooted in order to shutdown it, because scshutdown doesn't affect on him.

when I run scshutdown on node2 then only nodes 2+3 are shutdown,

node1 must be rebooted in order to shutdown it, because scshutdown doesn't affect on him.

when I run scshutdown on node3(the stand-by) then nodes 1+2+3 are shutdown OK.

somebody?

thanks

The Bug you are refering to is specificly to the combination of SNDR or instant image together with Sun Cluster. Is this the case with your configuration?

Also in your initial message you say "... because scshutdown doesn't affect on him" - can you elaborate on that? E.g. what is a "ps -ef" showing on the node not coming down - any run level scripts starting with K* running? Or are you saying that the init process to step down the runlevel is not invoked at all?

If you are seeing a run level script running to stop a service, you need to find out where it is hanging.
