Installing oracle 10g on solaris 10 for x86

Hi,

I am running Solaris 10 x86 on Toshiba laptop.

and am trying to install Oracle 10G on SOlaris 10 x86 and Oracle installer fails with msg -

could not execute auto check for display colors using command /usr/openwin/bin/xdpyinfo. Check if DISPLAY variable is set"...

I then tried to set DISPLAY to 127.0.0.1:0.0 but it still does not get set..

Any help would be appreciated!

P.S - also , if I wanted to change the "hostname" I am unable to, nor can I change the "workstation" name
