HP deskjet 3745

I have a HP deskjet 3745 color inkjet printer that connects to the system via a USB port. I can use it on windows NT using HP's driver, but how do I use it on Solaris? Can someone tell me whether I need any additional drivers or software?

You need to install CUPS, it comes on Solaris Companion CD/DVD.Probably you will need to find in the Internet *.ppd file for your printer.Installation instructions of cups you can find on this web site: http://www.lengers.com/p=12
