can't install patch 118855-15

I tried to install the kernel patch with the following command

smpatch add -i 118855-15 and got the following output

add patch 118855-15

Transition old-style patching.

Directory is expected, found link - //var/sadm/pkg.

Executing prePatch script...

ERROR: This patch requires the following patches

which have not been applied to the system:

121264-01 118844-30 118344-10 117435-02 119255-14

I don't know how to solve this issue that I have.

Your comments are always welcome.

Thanks in advance

Ensure that the patches 121264-01 118844-30 118344-10 117435-02 119255-14 (or later) are installed? 7/M.

Thanks for your reply. Actually I don't want to install the dependencies manually. I have like 35 updates showing up on my update manager, but when I install them through the same they always fail. Thats why I started using smpatch. But again installing all the dependencies for a patch before installing a patch can be daunting task. Is there a way this can be done through a single command?

Thanks again for your response.
