SUNWlibmx for Solaris 8

Hi,

I need to install Oracle 10g Database on our Sun box (Solaris 8, MU7). One of the pre-requisites is the package SUNWlibmx. Can someone please tell me where I can download this package from.

I can't seem to locate it on the Sun site, I'm obviously looking in the wrong placd.

Regards,

Ronald

Google returns zero hits for SUNWlibmx

Maybe it's a typo in the pre-requisites?

I haven't got a Solaris 8 system to hand, but under Solaris 9 9/05 these are the Forte Developer Bundled libraries that are installed:

bash-2.05$ pkginfo | grep libm

systemSUNWlibm Forte Developer Bundled libm

systemSUNWlibmsForte Developer Bundled shared libm

systemSUNWlmsx Forte Developer Bundled 64-bit shared libm

systemSUNWlmx Forte Developer Bundled misc. 64-bit libm files

I suspect you will be able to find this on one of the supplimentary CD,s that come with the Solaris Media kit.

Hi,Sorry for all the confusion. I misspelled it. It should have been SUNWlibms. It's on the Sun box.Problem resolved.
