compile kernel

Hi,I am using Solaris 10 (01/06). Is it possible to get the exact same version of kernel source code from which the kernel in this release was compiled? If so, how can I built my own kernel and install it in the system?Thanks,Girish

Hi,If you want to build your own kernel then you should go for OpenSolaris instead of the normal Solaris releases. The normal releases are binary only and only the OpenSolaris release makes it possible to compile your own kernel.NicoNicoB at 2007-7-6 21:28:44 >
