nge0 not working on a Ultra 20 m2

Hello people,

Just got my new ultra 20 m2 delivered and the nge1 ethernet port works great, but nge0 does nothing.

At boot I get : NOTICE: nge0 link down

however.... when I do a ifconfig -a everything looks great. I can bring nge0 up and down without a problem. The identical configuration that works on nge1 does nothing on nge0.

The switch shows no activity on that line, however when I swap the cord into the nge1 it is all about christmas.

I checked the bios and both nics are active.

Has anyone else noticed this?

No service contract by the way...
