About packages on S10 with zone not installed yet

Hi all,

Does anybody know how to bypass some packages during the installation of a zone ?

In fact, my global zone has a jumpstart service installed, the jumpstart has been set up with a home made package called "SMxxx".

When I install a fresh zone, it's inherit the package and install all files needed for the jumpstart. (during the zoneadmn install process)

(A directory is created containing all jumpstart files on the root pathname of the zone. :(

I'd rather avoid to uninstall the jumpstart package from the global-zone.

Thanks.

Hi

The only thing I can think of is using pkagadd -G

on the packages you don't want in non-global zones.

But this would require you to un-install the packages that you don't need/want in the non-global zones.

Please note, don't take this answer to say the above is the only possible solution.
