E4500 cannot power on

All,

I got E4500 which I was able to power on once. At that time in the middle of the POST the system turned off by itself. Last few lines of post are here:

There are couple of hundred lines before this and everything was OK till this point.

I have replaced board 0 with another board, since POST kind of failed on Board 0 SIMMs Test. I pluged in the power to the system (it's rated for 100v-240v), the key is in the stand by mode, I turned on the switch at the back to position 1 and then I hear clicking of relayes in power supplies (I guess) but none of the lights on any of the 4 power supplies, clock board or the board 0 (only CPU board in the system at this time) would come on. Not a single LED comes on. Then I put key in | position and still nothing happens. Needles to say I am not getting anything on the console window.

Since POST failed first time I have rest CPU and system on clock board but that didn't help.

I would appreciate any help I can get.

Regards.

Come on everyone, there is 10 Duke Dollars award, don't miss it. Where are all Sun hardware gurus now?

Examine your Power Cooling Modules (PCMs), as well as

your Peripheral Power Supply, and even your AC Input Module.

See this picture of the system at a third party web site.

Consider swapping them from available spares, as well.

I suspect the PCM for boards #0 and #2 might be malfunctioning.

If one or more of them are giving inadequate electricity, the system won't power on.
