Hard Disk mirror or meta

Hi everybody,

On an Enterprise 3500, 1 Gig RAM, 4 HD 18Gig Seagate Cheeta LP with solaris 9.

We need to work with the four HD without mirroring or metadevices.

The HDs are in slots: 0, 2, 4 and 6.

The metadevices is not configured; and when we made a new partition of any HD, other one takes the same partition table.

For example, the c1t0d0 takes the partitions of c0t0d0 HD when we configure the partition table with solaris management console.

We need to know how can we remove this "mirroring" and how can we do that in a new instalation to freely configure every disk.

Thanks.

sounds odd.Is it mirrored with veritas vxvm?use vxdisk list to check.E3500 uses fcal disks (dual paths when cabled that way) so c0t0 and c1t0 might be the same disk.Run Format ,check the world wide number in the path.If they end the same its the same
