V40z Autconfigure failure

Hi- I am trying to autoconfigure a group of V40z SP's to get an ssh key user (mgr) set across all of them. I have got sp at ip X.X.X.102 set up and working, when I attempt to autoconfigure other sp's thru the front panel, I get "Operation failed on autoconfigure" message. I have tried running autoconfigure directly, and also setting defaults then doing autoconfigure, on multiple sp's. I see the manual examples all say to use ip X.X.X.1 as the autoconfigure source, is that a hard requirement? Thanks Dom
