V210 no internet access

Complete Noob here, but I have supplied a valid IP address and required details but connection is always refused on the internet - can browse SMB network and can ping to the server from another client.

I am going to try to go through ALOM again and see if that helps unless some one with more brains or experience on these units can shed some light on this problem.

If you can navigate your SMB shares and can successfully ping elsewhere

then you don't have a hardware problem.

You would have a software issue, with something not quite configured correctly.

If you cannot navigate out of your subnet, then your problem could be

with your firewall hardware/software or with permissions

on other infrastructure. Your V210's hardware is functioning fine.

Your question would be a bit outside the scope of this Hardware forum.

I suggest you glance through some of the Network-related forums instead.
