E10K key code

Need the Key code for an Ultra Enterprise 10000 (E10K)

I need to create a new eeprom.image file on the SSP for a E10k.

To do this, I need the key from Sun.

System is an Ultra Enterprise 10000 (E10K)

How do I go about obtaining a new key code from Sun to configure the domain on a newly built SSP without a support contract.

I haven't worked with the E10K's for a few years now but the 25K's are as follows.....

You should find the starting MAC address on the frame near the front doors....

If domain A is,

Ethernet Address = 0:0:be:a8:4a:40

Serial number (Host ID) = 0xa84a40 (11029056)

The domain B should be created with,

sms-svc> sysid -d b -e 0:0:be:a8:4a:41 -s 0xa84a40

sms-svc> sysid -d b -H 0xa84a41

Oh..... If you have any old explorers from the SC's/SSP's they will contain the idprom.image files for each domain, you can just copy them back over.... Be sure to set the permissions properly......
