How to install a number subdomain?

Hi everyone!

I've tried to install a subdomain consisting of a single number only. Unfortunately, the DNS only allowed it with a www. in front of it.

This is how it goes:

domain name: 21gigawatt.ch

how I was able to set the subdomain: www.1.21gigawatt.ch (works!)

how I want it to look as well: 1.21gigawatt.ch (http://1.21gigawatt.ch)

So please: does someone knows how to solve that problem, or how to pretend that address or anything?

I'm glad for all suggestions!

Thanks a lot!

... not a hardware issue. Thus your question seems to be outside the scope of this hardware forum. Is this on the same Cobalt RAQ computer that you mentionedin your other posting from today? http://forum.sun.com/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=104763

Yeah, I know - sorry! But due to the lack of another forum to ask this... - yes, it's on the Cobalt RAQ 4r as well.

... then my response in that other post would apply here, as well.
