NOTICE: bge0: link up (over and over again)

Hello,

I have two Sun Fire V40 servers running Solaris 9 and Veritas Foundations Suite HA (VM, FS, CS). Approximately every 3.5 hours, the two servers each display the following message:

Aug 12 14:27:08 cfs1 bge: [ID 801593 kern.notice] NOTICE: bge0: link up 1000Mbps Full-Duplex

I also have another similar server that is not part of the cluster. It appears fine. Patching the two cluster nodes (recommended patch cluster) did not seem to solve the problem.

Anyone know what is causing this?

Can't say that this is a fault, just grep the logs of the server I am currently working on and the same message apears over and over. I will look it up again later and see if there is a known issue. You too can search the system documentation for any related issues ( although I doubt there is a problem at all ).

The times indicated on the server correspond to nfs errors on the clients.

You may want to check your network switch logs as well.Do they see a node down/up?Double check the Fixed and auto-neg compatibility and settings for both devices.
