Solaris Netra T1 105
I just picked this up for 80 bucks. I wanted to use it to do some learning on Solaris systems.
At this point in time...I only know how to work with a system that is already up and running.
That and I don't think this Netra is a normal server like I thought it would be. I have heard that I can telnet into it using PuTTY but I only recieved the server and no cables or hardware.
I would like to upgrade the OS to 10 if at all possible and be able to log into it and do things with it. Ideally using it as a database server setup.
Can anyone help me get this thing going?

Sun System Handbook
You can find the system manuals there.
http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Systems/Netra_t1_105/Netra_t1_105.html
In particular, they are here as PDF's.

The serial port is wired the same as a Cisco. Once you get to the LOM, there is no password, it is just like any other Sun server, except for the weird memory form factor. Still you can get cheap memory from Kingston etc or Ebay vendors.

Hi, I also bought a Netra T1 105 recently. I connected the LOM port (serial port A) to another Solaris 10 (x86) machine via a null modem cable and am able to see the boot messages and the lom propmpt too. The funny thing is the keyboard is neither responding at the lom prompt nor am I able to send a break signal to fall back to the OK prompt. How do I get my keyboard to tell LOM to drop to OBP? Please let me know.
