E 3000 ok prompt not comes

Hi friends,

We r using E-3000 sun sparch server from last few days this server ok prompt not comes. I m also shutdown server and then start but same thing happens. I m also check the server logs but noting any found related this problem. We r using dump terminal insted of sun monitor from last 5 years. Can u help me to resolve this issued?

Hi,

Have you tried letting the E3000 run a POST (Power On Self Test) to see if any of the CPU/MEM boards or I/O boards fail before it reaches the obp ?

This can be done by setting the front key into diag-mode and hooking up a terminal to the serial connector. This way you can see the POST output and see if the POST fails any processors/boards while testing the system
