SGD 4.3 Release?

Does anyone happen to know if SGD 4.3 is due to release in the near future? Especially its proclaimed SSO functionality would be of special interest to us. thanks in advance

Bump.Any release date for 4.3? Curious, especially with the security advisory that was posted to Bugtraq on 9/21/2006!

FYI, talked to Sun Support on the phone last week and they said 4.3 was released (Oct 26). I've spent a few hours checking the site, and the docs are out there, but the software isn't.

Going to call them again in a few minutes and be a little more hard-nosed... "ok, if you say it's released, tell me where it is."

Will post results.

Remold, that's basically the answer I just got...

The free download will be "coming soon". We do not have

a definite date for it as of now.

Tarantella, buying a product online without proper testing first would cost me my job. Proper testing and documentation is generally a precursor to major buys, at least where I work. :)

Sorry Red_Oregon,

but the link to the webshop should be an ironical information to Suns kind of handling TTA customers.

A lot of people are waiting for 4.3, coming "soon" for a long time. But instaed of a good roadmap you can rely on, they update there webshop only used by customers without dealer/partner connections. Thats not a good product-customer philosophy!

Nobody will get this 4.3 CD. It does not exist!

But thats no reason for Sun to sell it!

We like to have access to SGD roadmap to develop Server Base Computing market. Who is the person that can release access to this information. We are SUN partners too. If need to sign complementary NDA for this, we sign.
