LDAP authentication login breaks Applicaion pane

Hi there all.

I have an installation of SSGD (4.20.909) on SPARC Solaris.

Users can log in using UNIX authentication, and ENS auth.

When I try to use LDAP to authenticate, they are able to log in, but the applications panel displays the following error:

Web Service Request Failed

The following fault was returned from the web service call:

Code

?br>Server.Exception

String

?br>javax.naming.CannotProceedException: Caught exception from SOAP method: webtopcontent->searchwebtopcontent()

When I get them to log in to use the classic client, or even the native client, they see nothing in the applications panel.

I have tried turning profile searching on and off, with no joy.

It just seems like when the user authenticated using LDAP, they don't get a valid applications profile

Any pointers appreciated.

Regards,

The applications an LDAP user sees are the applications connected to the LDAP-Profile and the applications where the LDAP search entries give access to this user.Try connecting an application directly to the LDAP Profile to see if the error is gone.Greetz,Remold
