Add layout Failed!!!!! HELP!

Hello everyone!

i followed the instructions in http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/portalserver/reference/techart/layout/

step by step! However! it doesnt wor!

the link of "layout" get wrong message which tells me that may desktop configuration is wrong ,or maybe that i tried to access a channle which is not avalailable

Have anyone tried it?
