LDOM and DR?

Hi,

will Logical Domains with Solaris 10 support Dynamic Reconfiguration?

- is it possible to change the number of assigned virtual processors dynamically without reboot of the LDOM?

- is it possible to add/remove RAM to/from a LDOM witout reboot?

- will dynamic reduction of RAM be restricted by some virtual->real->physical addressing constraints, or kernel address space limitation?

- will DR for I/O be supported?

The first release of Logical Domains supports Dynamic Reconfiguration of CPU's, but not memory or I/O. That will be available in a later release.Memory and and I/O reconfiguration can be done on a delayed reconfiguration basis with the changes taking place in the next reboot.
