Hello, salex:

You accidentally picked the wrong forum.

Note the forum name? "OpenSPARC" ?

That is a new cpu module design technology.

Your SS20 system happens to be about three or four generations older than that.

Be that as it may ...

Your excerpt of the error messages has a couple of typos in it.

( 'sirp' should be "sipr", and 'ofar' should be 'afar' )

Try a Google search and see more information:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=re sult&cd=1&q=+sipr+%3D+40000000&spell=1

... such as [ b]this particular one from the search results.

Yes, it appears that your cpu#0 is having problems.

If this issue were from a SIMM, you would not likely see any reference

to "module 0" in the error message.

You could experiment with removing/reinstalling what is currently inside.

Sometimes that will make a better electrical contact.

You may need to replace that cpu.

SPARCstation 20 systems are so old, though,

that you may have difficulty finding trustworthy replacements.

There are no new ones out there.EBAY ?

Best of luck.
