ping/telnet does not work sometime.

I got a problem recently.

We have a V240 server with Solaris 8. Our colleague reported sometime they cannot ping/telnet the server with FDNS. But it does work using nslookup. I checked /etc/resolve.conf file and "files dns" are there.

When launch telnet command, it is found that it was connecting to the wrong ip address.

Any idea?

Thanks

Jeff
