syslogd overflow - 110945-08 does NOT help!

I have major problem with the known syslogd overflow that is supposed to be fixed with patch # 110945-08

I have just finished patch-up this old sun-enterprise 250 with the Solaris-8 recommended patches - it does not help!

This isn't Sun techsupport.

This is just a user-to-user discussion forum.

That "-08" patch is from 2003 !!

If that's the level of your patching, then your computer perhaps has other issues.

Perhaps you do not have an issue with daemon overflow, but there is something else happening.

Contact Sun and open a legitimate service case.

If there's no coverage by a service contract, then expect to pay

for proper analysis and guidance.
