JSE 6.0 Compatibility

Generally Creator 2 has worked really well with Mustang for some time now. However, there are two consistent bugs that crop up when Creator is run on JDK 6.0 and with the 6.0 release coming up, now is probably time to raise them.

First Bug

Whenever I quit Creator I get 8 warning dialog messages with messages similar to:

"Cannot delete file Windows2Local/Components/breakpoints.settings in C:\Documents and Settings\lowec\.Creator\2_1\config"

Second Bug

When Creator starts up, ocasionally the first user interaction with the GUI causes the various panels to "collapse". All of the panel spitters then have to be resized. This one is intermittent but it occurs frequently enough to be a annoying.

I'm running Creator on Server VM 1.6.0-rc-b99 on Windows XP.

What is Sun's stance on officially supporting Creator to run on JDK 6.0?

Does anyone else have any bugs to report with Mustang?

If you think you have real reproducable bugs to report, please feel free to go to

http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/support/index.jsp

click on the link "Bug Report / Feature Request" and enter the relevant information.

As for "official" Sun position on JVM version support, see

http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/reference/docs/2/Install ation_ReleaseNotes_2_1-en.html#sysreq

But "unofficially", Mustang issues are also being dealt with, naturally.
