Uninstall

I couldn't get NetBean 5.0 to work on my XP pro 64 bit system. It wouldn't finish installing, and now it won't fully uninstall either. Any suggestions?

Did it fail during appserver installation? If so, can u check out the workaround in "Issue #52856 (Windows XP only)" section in http://www.netbeans.org/community/releases/50/relnotes.html#known_issues?KarthikR at 2007-7-7 2:25:20 >

I got it to uninstall. The problem was it needed you to point it to the JVM, and the java.exe I pointed to was 64 bit. When I tried uninstallation again and pointed to a 32 bit java.exe, it uninstalled fine.I just wish it was compatible with 64bit Windows.S_Murder at 2007-7-7 2:25:20 >
