can we use Calendar Component to select month and year only

Hi i was wondering if we can make use of Calendar Component to select month and year only i tried to set the date format pattern to MM/yyyy but it doesnt work Thanks.

Hi,
I tried the following: Defined new value for the date format pattern as MM/yyyy.Selected to use this value. Now, when I select any date from the calendar it gives me only MM/yyyy in the text box. ofcourse the calendar shows all the dates for the month...
Not sure what you are looking for, and not working for you.. More detail would help
