i have success fully finished my first project.
now i have uploded it on the net.
but when i download in from the net it became .zip file.
on the net it says that it is .jar file, but when i download it .. it became .zip..
i i tried it on my collage computer and overthere it work properly.
why this happend
can any budy plase help me.
i have "java web start" installed.

This seems to be a known issue with IE:

...This is a IE quirk... It sometimes tries to download jars as zip files. You can simply rename the zip to jar and it will work. I have googled this a bit and have come accross numerous references to it but with no real solutions offered. Just a rename....
Are you and your colleague both running IE? Then you may want to check the version and internet options set for IE on both machines and see what could be the setting that is causing this?
Firfox does not seem to have this problem.
