integrating carbide with Java Studio Enterprise

Hi,

I am working on a project that is using carbide, and I would like to install it into my java studio enterprise netbeans, however when it asks for the netbeans directory it won't accept the "C:\Program Files\Sun\jstudio_ent8\ide" for netbeans.

is it possible to integrate carbide with Java Studio Enterprise?

Thanks,

T.

Are you using carbide for NetBeans 4.1? If so, it should work with JSE8 (since JSE8 is built on top of NB41).

As for the installation, it looks like carbide plugin is looking for a specific directory; perhaps it is looking for a directory called 'nb4.1'. You can try creating an empty directory called 'nb4.1' under :C:\Program Files\Sun\jstudio_ent8\ide" and rerun carbide installer...
