Disabling of Short-cut keys in Netbeans 5.0

Hi all,

I've been trying to disable or remove short-cut keys from netbeans (using ver 5.0 now). The issue is that i Hide/Close some window on running the application eg Navigator Window. Theres no way to call it from my menu or any where but can call it out from the shortcut keys.

Any solutions ?.. pls advise.

thanks

norman

I think that Tools->Options->Keymap provides the functionality you need. Did I understand the issue correctly?

No quite get it =p

As i know the key map applies thru-out the netbeans. Meaning i can't use the short cut keys even when in development stage.

i want to turn it off when my application is in runtime, meaning user cant use the short cut keys to manipulate beside using the menu i cater for them.

hmm.. or maybe your meaning of key map can does that too ? from my assumption is that, it will apply thru-out (in development and in runtime).

pls advise.

Thanks

Unfortunately I cannot really give a competent answer. I suggest that you ask this question on the nbdev@netbeans.org mailing list. The guys that read it are the actual NetBeans developers and thus will help you more with this kind of issues.Kirill
