No Mail Aplication Tab

I am trying to install MS6 onto an AMD Athlon 64, running Sol10 U2.JES 2005Q2 I have installed directory server and messaging server, when I add users you get the check-box to install mail account as you did with 5.2. When this is checked you do not get a Mail tab. there seems to be no way of setting up the Mail account;. have installed/uninstalled tried every which way to get this functionality but without any success. So I suppose the question is: IS JES broken, I even went back to an earlier version., still no joy.

It all comes down to "when I add users ". How did you add the users?Messaging 6 requres more ldap entries than 5.2 did.

I tried using the delegated administrator, the java console even tried command line, adding users works fine, its trying to assign mail attributes such as aliases, etc which is funcionality which you used to get with 5.2. Its almost like the DS has not been set up properly for the mail application.

DA that comes with 2005Q4 has more capability than the early version you seem to be using.

Ability to handle lists isn't in the 2005Q1 DA, but is in the later one.

If you use the command line user create ability, you can use the user modify feature to add the mail "service"

comm-admin user modify-S mail
