sslpassword

I am attempting to install a SSL Cert and have forgotten the token password that I originally used. After reading the docs I thought I would just update the sslpassword.conf file and restart the messaging server. This does not seem to work however. How can I reset this password so that I can install the cert?

Thanks,

Pete

Yeah, no.sslpassword.conf contains the password so the server can open the file. What was in there was the password. . . .Changing the pw has no effect on the existing database password. If you don't remember the database password, you may have to create it fresh.

How do I recreate it? I only see that I can change it, but I need the old password to do this. How do I make it look like I have never set the password before?Pete

How about this:Move the current cert8.db and key3.db elsewhere. Initialize a new one.

The problem is that these files do not seem to exist. I performed a "find . -name cert8.db" from the root dir and nothing was found. I am assuming that these files would exist on the server hosting Messaging.

Forget the last message. I found the db files. Thanks for the help.
