Java Desktop Solairs 10 Login ONly Works For root

I have a workstation with three usernames: root, rhancock, progman.

All three have been able to login using the Java Desktop. I installed

the patches suggested by the Update Manager, and now when I attempt to

bounced back to the login screen.

I can login with both of the non-root ids if I select CDE. Any

suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?

Login to a failsafe session with a non-root user, and run "gnome-session" in the terminal. You should see some error messages that might help diagnose the problem.

Ditto for my workstation. Did you ever figure out what the problem was? When I attempt Gnome-session it displays:Error can't write to '/var/tmp/orbit-pms, ORB init failed.....Multiple segmentation faults occured; can't display error dialogAny ideas?
