Ticker in firefox not working

Does anyone else have a problem with the ticker displaying in the firefox web browser ? (It is working fine in IE).thanks,Bert

I think it has got to do with the RFC for HTML/xHTML, which has stopped supporting marquee...you will need to use funky JavaScript to make i work on IE/Firefox.Indranil_Chakraborty at 2007-7-7 2:56:25 >

I logged a call about this and received the following from Sun support.
There is already a bug opened for this issue. Bug number is 6846.
I have no information as when this will be fixed. I have added this case to the bug notification list. Once I get an info I will update you .
