Policy Agent Install on Windows for Sun One Web Server

I have 2 machines the first is XP and the second is 2003 SE

I have the full Sun Enterprise Servers installed on both of them

Access Manager

Directory

Application Server

Web Server

I am trying to install the policy agent for the web server 6.1 but on

complains about web server instance directory, is not 6.0 or 6.1

2003

the installer refueses to install on 2003, while the web site and installion package claims to support 2003

So if anybody has any idea on how to get the Policy agent installed on one of these environemnts that will be great.

If the OS is the problem then you can use the java installer so you can trick it by running something like java -Dos.name=Windows -jar installer.jar If the web server is the issue might need to use an older policy agent for that version or upgrade to a newer version.

Note: Sun as claimed that Web Policy Agent 2.1 does *NOT* work with MS Windows 2003 Server Enterprise edition...

it only works with MS Windows 2003 Server Standard edition..

if there is a compulsion to use 2003 Server EE, i suggest use Web PA 2.2 (but u wil need AM 7.0 for that)
