client SDK 7.0 with Identity Server 6.`1

Can I build an application with client SDK 7.0 and then communicatie with an Identoty Server 6.1? Has someone experience with such an topology?

which parts of the SDK are you using? If it is the new IdentityRepo API it will certainly not work but if you are using method calls that were in the 6.3 API you should be able to compile it against the new SDK. At run time you will probably still need proper client SDK. See the 2.2 J2EE agents and the two different versions of the client SDK it provides.
