unexpected error while accessing the requested patch
I am getting error messages below on all Solaris 10 305 boxes that I am patching via 'smpatch update' :
This collection of patches is incomplete due to problems in downloading. It is advisable to retry the download later and see if the remaining patches can be downloaded. If they can, then the new download summary file will show the patches required and the order in which to install them. The patches failing to install are listed here:
118833-24 118833-24 Unexpected error while accessing the requested patch.
122027-08 122027-08 Unexpected error while accessing the requested patch.
122212-10 122212-10 Unexpected error while accessing the requested patch.
119059-18 119059-18 Unexpected error while accessing the requested patch.
Installing patches from /var/sadm/spool...
I tried again in three different days with the same result. It is always the exact same set of patches that fail to install. I can download and installed the failied patches manually.

that seems to address a similar issue and have a workaround solution
provided by SunUC engineering team. However, this is an old posting (aug-sep/2005) and I wonder if it is still valid. I would imagine that a year later a patch was already released.
