unable to download document: "collection/default"

Hi,

I have installed Sun Update Manager 1.0 proxy server on a Solaris 10 server.

After I successfully registered the Sun Update Manager proxy server using the GUI I received the following message:

Error: Unable to download document "collection/default" Cannot connect ot retrieve collection/default: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?

The proxy server is a Solaris 10 - 3/05 with JDK 1.6 (beta version) installed running behind corporate firewall.

Hi.Are you using an HTTP proxy to get out onto the Internet? If so, are you able to browse HTTPs sites (e.g. https://www.verisign.com ) from this host?

Problem solved.Somehow my SunUC proxy server was not pointing to the correct HTTP proxy after the registration was done. It seems to me that SunUC proxy server uses two separate configuration files: one for registration and another one to get the patches.
