Registration works, smpatch doesn't

Howdy,

For some reason sconadm now completes the registration process (this just started workign this morning), but smpatch states that the system is unregistered:

# sconadm register -a -r RegistrationProfile

sconadm is running

Authenticating user ...

finish registration!

# smpatch analyze

Failure: Cannot connect to retrieve Database/current.zip: This system is currently unregistered and is unable to retrieve patches from the Sun Update Connection. Please register your system using the Update Manager.

Shouldn't sconadm have registered the system? What do I need to do to fix this?

Yup. I tried all of the recommendations in the message forums, but smpatch refuses to work. Luckily I came across the pca utility: http://www.par.univie.ac.at/solaris/pca/And this seems to do the trick (I can use my sunsolve id /passwd to retrieve patches with pca). -
