command line control - deployment profiles

It appears as though the capability to use the command line to deploy and undeploy deployment profiles has been removed between ICAN and JCAPS.

Am I mistaken?

If I am mistaken then where can I find the reference for this please (The admin guide details command line component control, but not command line deployment profile control)?

If I'm not mistaken then I guess there's a reason, perhaps related to the detachment of the repository from eManager .... perhaps not .... anyhow is it a feature that may return?

The deploy command line is very much part of JavaCAPS. You can find the documentation here - chapter 3, section 3.3, page 39 of the system admin guide for 5.1.1

The CommandLine tool is also shipped with JCAPS and which is very useful to tool.We can do deploy, redeploy and undeploy with this tool. and the respective docs are available as said in the above location.
