Unable to access Sun Application server admin console

Hi,

I have successfully installed Sun Java?System Application Server Platform Edition 8.2 on Suse Linux 10.1. When I open the admin web interface (http://<hostname>:4848) from the local host it opens properly, but when I try to open the server administration console from another host (http//<hostname or IP Address>:4848) I get a "The page cannot be displayed" ie error! All settings are the default ones.

Can anybody guide me on how to resolve this..

Seems a name lookup issue, try using the IP address instead of the name and see if it works.- sreeni
